When Jennings gutters fill up
Several trees common in the region drop debris into regional gutters throughout different seasons. Broadleaf live oak drops its dense foliage during spring rather than fall, while pecan shells, oak catkins, and loblolly pine needles drop in other months, complemented by winter juniper pollen. Since freezing nights are rare and snow is extremely rare in Jennings, ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. However, heavy rainfall can push oak catkins and pine debris deep into downspouts, creating sudden blockages. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage unique seasonal foliage shifts and maintain proper roof drainage throughout every month.
