When Indian Trail gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including water oak, sweetgum, red maple, loblolly pine, and longleaf pine, drop debris into gutters throughout the year. Indian Trail experiences pine needles all year long, along with yellow pollen in spring, live oak leaf drop, sweetgum balls, and acorns. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. To protect your roofline, we recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall. Spring clearing removes heavy pollen and early leaf fall, while late fall clearing removes thick hardwood leaves and pine needles before winter freezing nights arrive.
