When Imperial gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop a steady variety of materials into your gutters as weather changes. In spring, cottonwood fluff fills the channels, followed by ash seeds and floating windborne dirt. Broadleaf trees like bur oak, silver maple, green ash, and hackberry drop heavy leaves that usually peak in mid October. Conifers like eastern red cedar and ponderosa pine drop needles year-round. Freezing nights and likely snow during Missouri winters can trap remaining moisture inside packed gutters, though ice dams are not an issue here. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect your property.
