When Hugo gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop leaves and debris into gutters throughout the year. Broadleaf live oak trees drop their leaves during spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and pecan shells fall in warmer months. Conifers like loblolly pine and ashe juniper spread needles and winter pollen. Overall leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams are not an issue and snow remains rare. Standing water inside blocked channels can still freeze and damage seams. We recommend a full gutter cleaning at least twice a year, once in spring and once in fall, to protect every residential roof and gutter setup.
