When Hot Springs gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region drop organic material throughout the changing seasons. Broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves during spring, while pecan shells, oak catkins, and post oak foliage fall later. Conifers like loblolly pine cast heavy needles, and eastern red cedar releases pollen during winter freezing nights. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October across Hot Springs. Although snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here, winter rains still cause overflowing gutters if channels stay full. We recommend cleaning gutters at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to protect your roofline and clear downspouts before seasonal storms begin.
