When Hernando gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into Hernando gutters all year long. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine cast long needles month after month. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia drop sweetgum balls, acorns, and large leaves. Spring pollen coats every roof before broadleaf trees lose their old foliage. Freezing nights are rare, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. However, heavy rains are continuous during hot summer months. We recommend a gutter cleaning visit at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect every local home from heavy overflow during Florida rain showers.
