When Harrison gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop distinct heavy clutter into roof gutters through changing seasons. Oak catkins fall during spring weeks, while broadleaf red maple, white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, and sweetgum shed fallen leaves, acorns, and spiky sweetgum balls later in the year. Conifers like eastern white pine lose needle clusters continuously. Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October, filling upper channels fast. Freezing nights happen and winter snow is likely, turning wet sludge into solid weight if neglected. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear organic waste before frost sets in.
