When Groves gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris during different times of the year, making local gutter care a year-round priority. Broadleaf live oak trees drop heavy leaves during spring rather than fall, while pecan trees shed shells and oak catkins fill roof channels. Ashe juniper drops pollen during winter months, while loblolly pine needles and cedar elm leaves drop late in the year. Freezing nights are rare in this part of Texas, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue. However, heavy rains hit choked channels hard if they are neglected. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage seasonal drops.
