When Grenada gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf white oak, hickory, sweetgum, tulip poplar, and red maple, drop heavy leaves every fall. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October, while loblolly pine needles and eastern red cedar debris drop throughout the year alongside spring pollen. Freezing nights happen here, but snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage seasonal waste. A spring gutter cleaning clears pollen sludge and lingering winter twigs, while fall maintenance opens paths for winter rain before packed debris decays inside the channel.
