When Greenville gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into Greenville channels throughout the year. Broadleaf live oak trees drop old leaves in early spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and pecan foliage collect in early summer. Juniper pollen settles during winter, and general leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights happen in Texas winters, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue here and snow is rare. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage these distinct seasonal drops. Regular clearing keeps each downspout open before heavy downpours wash accumulated leaves into the system.
