When Greenbrier gutters fill up
Trees common in the region include white oak, hickory, tulip poplar, sweetgum, and red maple, along with loblolly pine and eastern red cedar. In spring, yellow pollen and tree blossom remnants collect in gutter channels, forming sticky mats. Fall brings major leaf drop that usually peaks in late October, dumping large loads of leaves, acorns, and pine needles on roofs. Freezing nights happen here, and winter snow is likely, making heavy debris hazardous when trapped water freezes inside clogging gutters. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep channels open through every seasonal shift in Greenbrier.
