When Gladewater gutters fill up
Gladewater experiences distinct regional foliage patterns that fill gutters year-round. Broadleaf trees like pecan, post oak, cedar elm, and crape myrtle are common in the region. Loblolly pine needles and ashe juniper pollen collect during winter months. Uniquely, broadleaf live oak leaves drop in spring rather than fall, accompanied by heavy oak catkins. Pecan trees drop shells later in the year, and general leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights happen here, though snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal material before severe storms arrive.
