When Garner gutters fill up
Tree species common across the region include sweetgum, red maple, water oak, broadleaf live oak, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine. In spring, these regional trees release heavy yellow pollen that combines with rainfall to form dense mud inside the gutter bottom. Pine needles drop throughout the year, weaving tight mats over downspout outlets, while sweetgum balls, acorns, and live oak leaves drop directly into open channels. Fall leaf drop usually peaks in late October across North Carolina. Although winter brings freezing nights, heavy ice dams are rare. We recommend scheduling a gutter cleaning visit at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to protect the property line.
