Debris Buildup and Common Drainage Issues
Gutter problems generally start when falling leaves, pine needles, organic silt, or small twigs settle along the metal channel. During rainfall, this material can bunch together and create localized dams. In some cases, water spills over the front edge mid-run because debris has raised the water level. In other instances, debris slides down to the outlet, choking the opening and causing water to back up along the entire eaves trough.
