When Freeport gutters fill up
Freeport experiences coastal weather where freezing nights are rare, snow is rare, and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. However, plant material falls into the gutter channels year-round from local foliage common in the region. Broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves in spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and pecan shells fall early in the year. Loblolly pine needles, crape myrtle blossoms, cedar elm foliage, post oak leaves, and ashe juniper pollen in winter also create dense mats. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to prevent deep blockages and protect your roofline.
