Debris and Drainage Conditions
Gutter problems often trace back to different structural points along the drainage line:
- Outlet clogs where leaves, twigs, or seed pods wedge tightly into the drop hole and back up water.
- Run overflow caused by silt or decaying organic sludge settling across a long span without reaching an outlet.
- Downspout elbow jams that restrict downward flow even after the top horizontal channel appears clear.
