When Fairfield gutters fill up
Leaf drop usually peaks in mid October across Fairfield, sending constant debris into open gutter channels along the roof line. Heavy seasonal debris combines with wind to create thick clogs inside the gutters and upper downspouts. While freezing nights are rare here, ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare in California valleys, rainwater still collects fast during stormy periods. Trapped water quickly spills over roof edges, leading to siding staining and soil washing away around flowerbeds. To prevent overflow damage, we recommend cleaning gutters at least twice a year, spring and fall, keeping downspouts flowing freely before heavy weather arrives.
