When Durant gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region, such as live oak, pecan, cedar elm, crape myrtle, post oak, loblolly pine, and ashe juniper, create distinct seasonal runoff issues for Durant properties. Broadleaf live oak leaves drop in spring rather than fall, while pecan tree catkins and shells fall into channels during late spring months. Ashe juniper trees drop heavy pollen during winter, followed by general fall leaf drop that usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend cleaning gutters at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to manage this continuous organic buildup.
