When Dumas gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including broadleaf live oak, pecan, cedar elm, post oak, loblolly pine, and ashe juniper, drop heavy matter throughout the year. Live oak leaves drop in spring, not fall, while oak catkins arrive in spring and pecan shells drop later on. Ashe juniper drops pollen in winter, and general leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen and snow is likely in Dumas, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue. Snow melt mixes with settled dust to block downspouts, so we recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect your gutter setup.
