Debris and Drainage Conditions
Buildup occurs when leaves, seed pods, twigs, and roof grit collect inside the channels over time. When water cannot reach the downspouts freely, it pools along the eaves or spills over the sides during heavy rain. Downspout outlets can also choke with packed material, restricting the vertical drop and causing backups along the entire run.
