When Destin gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris into channels across every season. Loblolly, longleaf, and slash pines drop needles all year long, forming dense mats inside the drainage system. Spring brings heavy yellow pollen alongside leaf drops from broadleaf live oak and water oak trees. Later in the year, sweetgum balls, acorns, and foliage from red maple and southern magnolia drop directly onto the roof. Freezing nights are rare here, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue. However, heavy rains require open channels. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep rain moving cleanly away from your foundation.
