When Corinth gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region, including broadleaf live oak, pecan, cedar elm, crape myrtle, post oak, loblolly pine, and ashe juniper, create a unique schedule for home maintenance in Corinth. Unlike trees in other areas, broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves in spring rather than fall, while oak catkins, pecan shells, and winter juniper pollen steadily fill the channel. Cold weather brings occasional freezing nights, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare in Texas. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November. To keep channels open, we recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to manage seasonal drops.
