When Conway gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop organic matter into roof valleys in every season. Broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves during spring rather than fall, while oak catkins and cedar elm seeds clutter channels early in the year. Post oak leaves usually drop in late October, followed by winter juniper pollen and dropped pecan shells. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. Wet debris held inside a clogged gutter can freeze during cold snaps, expanding against the metal seams. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, once in spring and once in fall, to protect your home.
