When Concord gutters fill up
Trees common in the region drop debris throughout the year across Concord. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia shed leaves, heavy sweetgum balls, and acorns, while loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine drop pine needles continually. Spring brings thick yellow pollen that coats every gutter and downspout. While freezing nights happen in winter, ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare in North Carolina. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal pine needles and oak leaf buildup. Scheduled visits protect roofline systems before fall rains and spring blossom drops clog downspouts.
