When Celebration gutters fill up
The local climate in Celebration presents continuous challenges for roof drainage. Freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters are not an issue, and snow is rare. However, local trees are largely evergreen and shed leaves, needles, and seed pods year-round into every gutter system. Because material drops continuously rather than during a single fall season, a single annual visit is rarely enough. Heavy tropical rains in summer will quickly cause an overflow if accumulated organic matter restricts flow. We recommend residential gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect the property edge and ensure that downspouts remain clear before heavy seasonal storms reach Florida.
