When Camden gutters fill up
Trees common to the region drop varied organic material across Camden rooflines throughout every season. Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine cast sharp pine needles and heavy yellow pollen, while sweetgum balls, acorns, and leaves from broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, and red maple collect in roof channels. Live oak leaf drop and heavy sweetgum debris clutter drainage pathways, while fall foliage drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend scheduling a full gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to maintain consistent roof drainage and protect home exteriors.
