When Byram gutters fill up
Trees common in the region include broadleaf sugar maple, red maple, American beech, white birch, northern red oak, eastern white pine, and eastern hemlock. Spring brings maple seed wings into every open gutter. By mid October, leaf drop usually peaks, dumping a heavy carpet of fallen leaves and acorns across your roof. Winter brings freezing nights and likely snow, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Pine needles also fall throughout late fall. To protect your roofline, we recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, clearing organic debris before winter freezes or spring rains overwhelm your system.
