When Burton gutters fill up
Trees common in the region, including loblolly pine, slash pine, broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, and red maple, impact rooflines throughout the year. Pine needles drop constantly, while yellow pollen covers surfaces in spring and live oak leaves drop shortly after. Sweetgum balls and acorns fall late in the year, and broadleaf leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Freezing nights are rare in Burton, so ice dams in gutters are not an issue. However, heavy rain requires open channels year-round. We recommend scheduling a gutter cleaning service at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear seasonal debris and keep water moving off the roof safely.
