When Broadlands gutters fill up
Local trees common in the region, such as red maple, sweetgum, water oak, broadleaf live oak, and loblolly pine, send various materials onto nearby roofs. Pine needles drop all year long, while yellow pollen arrives in spring, sweetgum balls drop, and oak leaves fall heavily around mid October. Winters bring freezing nights and heavy snow, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Weight from wet debris and snow can rapidly pull gutters away from the roof. We recommend scheduling a full cleaning service at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to protect your house.
