When Briar gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region drop debris into channels at unexpected times. Broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves during spring rather than fall, while oak catkins scatter in spring and pecan trees drop shells later. Loblolly pine needles, post oak leaves, and ashe juniper pollen accumulate during cold spells. Freezing nights happen here, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue and snow is rare. Leaf drop usually peaks in early November, making seasonal clearouts critical to keep downspouts flowing. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect every Briar home from water damage caused by heavy storms.
