When Bonham gutters fill up
Several tree species are common in the region, including post oak, pecan, cedar elm, crape myrtle, broadleaf live oak, loblolly pine, and ashe juniper. Live oaks drop heavy leaves during spring rather than fall, while pecan trees release messy catkins and shells. Winter brings heavy juniper pollen, and general leaf drop usually peaks in early November. Although snow is rare in Bonham, freezing nights happen, turning lingering gutter debris into dense frozen blockages. We recommend seasonal gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall. A timely fall gutter cleaning removes heavy fall foliage, while a spring gutter cleaning clears stubborn oak shed and seasonal pollen before major rain begins.
