When Bon Air gutters fill up
Trees common to this region include broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine. Pine needles fall all year long, while yellow pollen gathers in spring and live oak leaves drop steadily. Sweetgum balls and acorns drop during fall months, with general leaf drop usually peaking in late October. Winter brings freezing nights and likely snow to Bon Air, though ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. Trapped slush and frozen debris can still stress the system. We recommend gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to keep drainage clear during changing Virginia weather.
