When Bermuda Dunes gutters fill up
Managing gutter channels in Bermuda Dunes relies heavily on the local climate and native vegetation patterns. Local trees are largely evergreen, shedding dry leaves, fine needles, and heavy seed pods continuously year-round. Because freezing nights are rare, ice dams in gutters do not occur here, and snow is exceptionally rare in Bermuda Dunes. However, wind gusts constantly push fine dust, desert gravel, and dry debris into open gutter channels along the roof. We recommend scheduling gutter cleaning at least twice a year, during spring and fall, to clear organic build-up. Regular seasonal service stops settled windblown dust and fallen seed pods from forming heavy silt plugs inside downspout curves.
