When Berea gutters fill up
Several tree species common in the region, including water oak, sweetgum, red maple, southern magnolia, loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine, release heavy pine needles year-round and drop sweetgum balls and yellow pollen every spring. Broadleaf live oak leaf drop adds substantial weight to local roof channels, while general leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen here, but snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue. To prevent water buildup and safeguard your home, we recommend scheduling a gutter cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to clear out dense pine needles and seasonal roof buildup.
