When Arnold gutters fill up
Local trees common in the region drop debris directly onto residential roofs throughout every season. Broadleaf species such as bur oak, silver maple, green ash, hackberry, and cottonwood drop organic matter alongside needles from eastern red cedar and ponderosa pine. Spring brings floating cottonwood fluff and green ash seeds, while leaf drop usually peaks in mid October. Windstorms frequently toss heavy grit and dust across regional rooflines during summer heat. Winter introduces freezing nights and likely snow, which puts added weight on sagging roof channels. We recommend a full cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to keep downspouts clear.
