When Aledo gutters fill up
Tree species common in the region drop debris into home channels throughout the entire year. Broadleaf live oak trees drop leaves during spring rather than fall, filling channels alongside oak catkins. Summer brings pecan shells and crape myrtle blossoms, while winter wind carries ashe juniper pollen and loblolly pine needles into downspouts. Post oak leaves, cedar elm seeds, and general tree litter usually peak around early November. Freezing nights occur locally, but ice dams are not an issue and snow is rare. We recommend clearing out your local gutter system at least twice a year, spring and fall, to maintain uninterrupted flow and protect your home through every season in Texas.
