When Aberdeen gutters fill up
Loblolly pine, longleaf pine, and slash pine trees are common in the region, dropping thick pine needles into gutter systems throughout the entire year. Broadleaf live oak, water oak, sweetgum, red maple, and southern magnolia also grow across this region. Sweetgum balls and live oak leaves accumulate quickly, while heavy yellow pollen settles in channels during spring. Leaf drop usually peaks in late October. Freezing nights happen, but snow is rare and ice dams in gutters are not an issue here. We recommend cleaning at least twice a year, spring and fall, to protect against water buildup and keep every gutter line clear.
